Why six?
Every freshener is $3.43. Order six or more and shipping is on us — so a six-pack is the sweet spot: more scents, no shipping fee.
Why can't I buy just one?
Packs start at three. Shipping and packing a single freshener costs nearly as much as shipping three, and we'd rather put that money into the fragrance oil than into postage. Three is the smallest pack where the economics work.
Can I mix scents in a pack?
Yes — any combination. Six coconut, or two of each, or five strawberry and one pineapple. The price is the same either way; only the quantity moves it.
What does phthalate-free actually mean?
Phthalates are plasticizer chemicals often used to carry and stretch fragrance in low-cost air fresheners. Our fragrance oil is formulated without them. That's a statement about our ingredient list — we don't make health claims about it.
How long does each air freshener last?
Each SurfScent is made for a long-lasting scent experience, but exact time varies with heat, airflow, and where it's placed.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free tracked shipping when you order six or more fresheners, or on any order over $20. Under both, shipping is a flat $4.99.
Are the scents strong?
Fresh and noticeable without feeling overpowering. Warm days make the fragrance read stronger at first as it releases faster.
How do I make the scent last longer?
Park in the shade, keep it away from strong vents, and roll the windows up when you want the scent to linger. Keep the ones you aren't using yet in their sealed packaging.

Born on the SoCal coast
SurfScent started with a simple want: a car that smells like the days we actually like — salt air, sunscreen and fruit stands off the PCH.
So we made fresheners that bottle that feeling, with fragrance we're happy to breathe on a long drive. Hang one on the mirror and every errand gets a little more West Coast.
